DVD

Enjoy watching your favorite DVDs with XHub Media Center. See the simple step-by-step directions below:

1. Press the MENU button on your remote to open the XHub main menu. Then select DVD.

2. You will be presented with an on-screen menu.

You can choose to go straight to the DVD menu or play the disc from the beginning. If the disc has previously been played, you will also have the option to resume playing from where you last left off. XHub automatically keeps track of this.

If you have not yet inserted a DVD disc you will be asked to do so.

3. The DVD starts playing.

You can now use the remote to control the playback by doing the following:

• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause/resume playback.
• Press the LEFT ARROW button to return to the previous chapter.
• Press the RIGHT ARROW button to skip to the next chapter.
• Hold down the LEFT ARROW button to rewind.
• Hold down the RIGHT ARROW button to fast forward.
• Press the UP ARROW button to increase the sound volume.
• Press the DOWN ARROW button to decrease the sound volume.
• Press the MENU button to return to the DVD menu.
• Give the MENU button a long press to trigger the special action.

The SPECIAL ACTION depends on the playback state of the disc. If the DVD is playing, holding down the MENU button will take you to the DVD menu, or return to the currently playing title if already at the DVD menu.

If the DVD is paused, giving the MENU button a long press will present you with the on-screen GO TO TIME menu. This menu lets you quickly skip to any given point in time. You can use the remote to control the input by doing the following:

• Press the LEFT ARROW button to move the cursor to the left.
• Press the RIGHT ARROW button to move the cursor to the right.
• Press the UP ARROW button to increase time.
• Press the DOWN ARROW button to decrease time.
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to skip to the selected time.
• Press the MENU button to cancel.

To play a DVD that you have saved locally on your hard drive as a video folder, you use the videos module.
