2. You will be presented with a menu that lets you select what kind of radio you want to play: podcasts, audio streams or shoutcasts.
PODCASTS are radio shows you can download from the Internet.
You can subscribe to podcasts (for free) so that new episodes are automatically downloaded as they become available.
You can also download free podcasts from the iTunes Store.
Podcast episodes are downloaded to iTunes on your computer so that you can play them when you're not connected to the Internet.
If you select Podcasts, you will be asked to pick a podcast service, and the a podcast episode, from your iTunes music library.
Unplayed podcast episodes are marked with a blue dot. Not yet downloaded episodes are marked with a red dot.
Podcast episodes are downloaded asynchronously. This means you can start a download, continue using XHub as usual, and return later to listen to the podcast.
Before you start playing or downloading a podcast episode, you will be presented with a brief description of the selected episode.

AUDIO STREAMS (URL tracks) are also stored in iTunes on your computer.
URL tracks are files that point iTunes to a live Internet broadcast.
You download these files yourself from the broadcaster of your choice.
To listen to an audio stream you must be connected to the Internet.
If you select Audio streams, you will be asked to pick a URL track from your iTunes music library.
SHOUTCASTS are also live streams, provided by SHOUTcast Radio.
SHOUTcast Radio is a broadcasting network that collects online radio stations from around the world. The streams are updated on a daily basis.
If you select Shoutcasts, you will be presented with a list of genres and sub-genres to narrow down your search for the radio channel of your liking. You also have the option to browse the 25 currently most popular SHOUTcast Radio stations.
