TV

Enjoy digital TV broadcasts and recordings with XHub Media Center. XHub serves as a front-end to EyeTV by Elgato Systems. Version 2.4 or later of the EyeTV software is required. To start watching and recording digital TV, simply follow these step-by-step directions:

1. Press the MENU button on your remote to open the XHub main menu. Then select TV.

2. You will be presented with options to play the most recently watched channel, select another channel or play a recording.

3. Once you have made your selection, the TV channel or recording starts playing.

You can now use the remote to control the playback by doing the following:

• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause/resume playback.
• Press the LEFT ARROW button to skip to the previous channel.
• Press the RIGHT ARROW button to skip to the next channel.
• Hold down the LEFT ARROW button to rewind.
• Hold down the RIGHT ARROW button to fast forward.
• Press the UP ARROW button to increase the sound volume.
• Press the DOWN ARROW button to decrease the sound volume.
• Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu.
• Give the MENU button a long press to trigger the special action.

If you are watching live TV, the SPECIAL ACTION will start/stop recording the current channel. If you leave the TV view, you will see a red "busy recording" indicator next to the time in the top right corner of your screen.

If you are watching a recording, the special action will present you with the on-screen GO TO TIME menu. This menu lets you quickly skip to any given point in time. You can use the remote to enter the time you want to skip to by doing the following:

• Press the LEFT ARROW button to move the cursor to the left.
• Press the RIGHT ARROW button to move the cursor to the right.
• Press the UP ARROW button to increase time.
• Press the DOWN ARROW button to decrease time.
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to skip to the selected time.
• Press the MENU button to cancel.

The TV scan rate is set in the EyeTV preferences. The scan rate settings in the SETTINGS menu at the main menu level does not apply.
